This course is an approved motorcycle rider education course. It includes instruction to promote the development of perceptual skills, basic operational and street riding skills.
This class is required for students 16-18 years of age to obtain a Class M license. Develop the knowledge and skill necessary for safe riding. This course is strongly recommended for anyone who is considering the purchase of a motorcycle and /or contemplating riding a motorcycle. MSF completion certificates and IDOT certificate of completion will be awarded to persons satisfactorily passing the course. Students must be 14 years of age or older and have a valid Iowa driver's license or instruction permit to take this course. Motorcycle and helmet are provided. Motorcycle Rider Safety skills are taught to help the student develop the knowledge and skill necessary for safe riding.
The class includes classroom & range experience. Friday classes are 6pm-10pm, Saturday and Sunday classes are 8am-5pm. Tuition and Fees: $150.
